GTX DI need help. 12-23-2008, 01:19 AM. Hi, I got an 03 GTX DI that has been perfect for the last 30 hours, was pulling 6820-6840rpm and ran 54mph on the GPS. Pulled hard and not hesitations at all, the thing ran like a dream. It has done 125 hours all up.The stalling problem still continues, but much less. One new possible solution was to switch again from 87 octane gas to 91 as the jetski recommended. I switch from 91 to 87 2 years ago and another mechanic said that his 80% sure that my DI is having problem because I change from premium to regular gas.
The battery is not charging. I charged the battery again, Started it again checked the voltage at the battery. Before starting it and was 12.7, at idle was 12.7, took it up to 3000 rpm still 12.7.
