Ridge Funeral Home is located at 6620 West Archer Avenue on the south side of Chicago, and was originally established in 1940 by Florian Ciesla and his father on 18th and Cullerton in Chicago. They moved to the Garfield Ridge neighborhood in 1962 and built the current Ridge Funeral Home. In 1972, Florian Ciesla retired. In 1944, Church sold his interest in the funeral business to the Archer family. Step back in time As for the history of the Pasley Funeral Home, we return to the early 1900s. Looking to the east side of the Liberty Square, you would have found the Hills Funeral Home. Mr. Hill opened his funeral home in 1908 and built our present building in 1923.
