But, nobody should rely on load data given on a discussion web as gospel. They should go by the loading manual or call the powder manufacturer if an unlisted substitution is considered.

WAGinVA, The CB6100-12 will work BUT it is longer and larger in diameter than the wad you want which is the CB1100-12. You will have to use more wad pressure to make those wads fit in a Remington or Winchester hull. It won't be pretty, but it should go bang.The one caveat would be, however, that the dedicated 7/8 oz. wads that work best with 3/4 oz. of shot - the OEM WAA12L, Claybuster's CB0178-12 and Down Range Mfg.'s XXL Pink (and Orange for straight-walled hulls) - don't work as well with the 7/8 oz. payload they're made for, tending to overfill the case, which often results in bulged crimps on ...I load a great deal of 7/8 oz. loads, and also very much liked the Clear Duster wads. Hodgdon lists separate data for the two also. If you look at the data, the Claybuster gives a lower pressure for the same amount of powder.
