May 2, 2020 · What that code snippet will do (presumably) is reset the explored areas for each force. Run it in the chat in the editor. Prior to doing the editing, you can also avoid the issue to begin with by changing forces in the editor, so the explored terrain won't show up for the player, but for the enemy (or another force that you can manually create). Then when you go to that layer and change your design, the editor mod just deletes the corresponding blueprint and creates a new one based on your design. You'd need some way of storing settings for each layer: name, grid size, maintain station names, etc. The Factorio engine calls those “surfaces”.
