I could see the copper blade on the front of my 40-70ss Shiloh and could have easily have hit a hog shadow out to 80 yds without much sweat. I've killed hogs in the headlights of my jeep, by spotlight, with a small tactical flashlight in my left hand and even by the light of small maglite.
