If the Shield is anything like the optics ready Shield Plus, the mounting surface on the slide is angled (canted) so far forward that Holosun optics will run out of upward elevation adjustment at reasonable 20-25yd zero distances. I've had this problem with a 407K and an EPS Carry on several Shield Plus slides.Both of these red dot sights have worked well for me on my P365XL, but the Holosun would be my choice without question if I had to choose just one. Sadly the 508T can only fit the "C series" cut which the widely known RMR cut. The EPS accommodates only to the "K series" cut. So you'd have to do some research and find a adapter plate for the "K series" cut to go on your "C series" cut if you want to use an EPS. A word for the wise.
