There really is no way to complete the adjustment on the engine stand because the lifters are not pumped up. Just tighten them until the pushrods wont come flying out. Then after engine is running back each one off until it clatters . then tighten just until noise stops barely. Then tighten each one 1/4 turn. then each one another 1/4 turn then ...Spin the intake rocker nut down with the correct thickness feeler gauge inserted between the valve stem and the tip of the rocker arm.
