What makes you think that Destiny 1, a completely unmaintained game with minimal upkeep that is still full priced with an active community within its broader franchise, isn't profitable? ... and it happen twice, like a great game with servers still up, like Dark Souls did. Just started myself again and im enjoying it. 2. Reply. Share.Between you and them is a chain of other hubs routers and servers. (not to get into how the internet works but broad terms) If say somewhere between you and them there is an issue that causes lag/lost packets/hiccups ect. The Destiny servers only see that some of the data is not making it to you, or from you back to it.
