Make a copy of your saved folder and toss it on your desktop or something before reinstalling.Thank you. I updated servers again and validated my ark in steam AGAIN this time it found 2 files that needed updating. I've been running about :15min without a crash so far.

HELP. I have tried verifying game files, uninstalling and reinstalling mods, deleting the Lost Island map files (I have never used it) but it still crashes every time I try to load my normal Island singleplayer world. Also, at one point steam detected that it had corrupted files and validated them, but it didn't change anything.Been getting the same issue since the update can currently only play on one server in my faves list,this server is not updated. I have also had the issue before and it normally stays like that till a workshop content patch drops and then I can play again.In Steam right click on ark asa, choose options and write in the text field below Launch Options: -dx11 Close the window and now u can start asa hopefully without crashing I would not go as far to call this a solution but rather a work-around, if it indeed is caused by dx12 features.. (which it probably is something tied to inventory transitions)Step 1. Restart your computer and launch Steam. Step 2.
