Nov 6, 2023 · I purchased this product several months ago and finally got to use it last week. I got it set up on my CZ 457 Pro Varmint 22LR rifle that had low cheek rest on the wood stock. This riser fit the stock perfectly and I had to use the tallest insert to get my eye aligned with my scope. The cheek riser radically improved my weld and ability to get a good eye box and view of the target without shadowing etc. mandatory upgrade in my opinion. Click to expand ... We're using iron sights but my son is having a hard time getting a good cheek weld with ear protection. I thought about one of the slip-on neoprene risers with the adjustable spacers but they look to be for adult-sized stocks.
My fully factory 457 MTR was good for 8-11mm groups at 50 yards with Lapua Midas + . CZ guarantees 15mm. The T1X has more chassis options.
