Dayz server unreachable
/r/dayz - Discuss and share content for DayZ, the post-apocalyptic open world survival game. Avoid the infected (not zombies), make friends with other players (or not). The only goal is survival.For some reason some of my favourized servers become unreachable and it seems quite arbitrary which ones. Some of them might become accessbile again after a few days, others stay greyed out with the lock symbol. I could play there fine and the next day it is unreachable. The servers are all up to date and without any mods. It seems to me like something is broken with DayZ Serverbrowser.

To change that you have to go to the Properties from your Dayz Game (right click in Steam on Dayz) and select experimental from the Beta tab. after the new files are downloaded you should be able to join your new Dayz Server. I just solved this problem with my game on both my laptop & pc. I had my router port forwarded with the ports 2302-2305 to run an Arma 3 server for a game night. Disabling this has cured all the connection issues. DayZ Server installed, updated properly. All ports have been opened in Firewall and Port Forwarding correctly. Only thing I can think of that isn't allowing it to be reachable is by the internet setup at home.
It's server owners fault, adding spaces and other stuff only adds to everyone else's problem.
