I'm curious how Delta ranks people in the list and how people move down like this.There are three lists: Upgrade, Standby, and Awaiting Seat Assignment. Standby and ASA might be lumped together but are technically two different things. Upgrade - Medallion members (flying 25,000+ miles a year) can request upgrades to Comfort+ and First (but not Delta One) as long as they are not ticketed in Basic Economy.
