Buck shots were the key, and we were in two spots on the lake, one deep/one shallow. The deep was 36 feet of water, the shallow was bewteen 5-15 feet of water. With the weather change from bitter cold back to mild, I think the Perch and definitely the Walleyes are about to go off, get ready!! Good Luck out there!Most of our Perch are coming either super shallow, less than 10 feet, or in the bloodworm, basin areas of the main bay and the eastern portion of the fishery. 34-50 foot range is kind of the rule in this ‘later season’. The biggest problem with these fish is they are there and biting one day and there and not biting the next.
