There are 2 intermittent problems on my new 2011 Silverado 1500 LT radio system: when I listen to people on radio, I hear scratches and the voice is sometimes distorted. My GM Chevrolet Dealer says this is normal as he hears the same on a similar new truck in his lot.

I had the same issue with my 2014 Sierra. Except on mine it overlayed all the screens on to one screen. So on mine you would have it on radio, and all the other screens would show up on it. I took it they updated it and all is good now. You may want to have them check your voltage though.There is no guidance in the manual, unless I missed it.
