Honda Fourtrax 300 not starting?? You're not alone. If you've owned a Honda fourtrax for any amount of time you'll loose spark on this model. Here's the fix....As title states. I have a 2000 fourtrax 300. Compression is at 190 and has a bright blue spark. Just cleaned carb thoroughly and plug is wet with fuel. I noticed when starting with the choke the air box flexes like its building pressure. Sometimes it appears gas is coming out air box. I just started up my 88' 300 fourtrax (new to me was left at the place we just bought) started plowing and it just shut off so I tried restarting. Turns over but won't start. Has fuel and oil was low I filled it. Still nothing. Replace the spark plug. REPLACE all the old fuel. Insure that fuel is getting to the cylinder. After turning the engine over a few times, pull the plug and make sure it is wet (with gas).
