Fan temp switch on the bottom of radiator switches Ground to motor at 208 - 216°F. High Temp indicator goes on at 234 - 244°F.There is no filter specific for synthetic oil. There are, however, filters with better filtering media vs. paper found in most filters. Mobil 1 M1-110 is one of them. Bosch 3323 is another.
