Except I didn't pause the device, and when I look in the app, it shows as *not" being paused, so there is nothing to unpause. By going into settings - about phone - status information - WIFI~mac adress - click on said network paused and select either phone or randomized MAC adress. For phones older they must be rooted. Which is another process of its own. Then special apps can make a new a random MAC for said phone to trick the xfi network.
