I've tried the trick two more times since then, following the exact instructions (only changing the expiry month) and still got the same message. I'm in Canada and the quick result option is not offered here. How reliable is the good pop-up in 2021, with the reduced amount of NCLEX questions and time?

It is most definitely not 100% accurate however it do know more people who it's worked for than not.
