The LMT Enhanced BCG is fantastic, but you'll want an adjustable gas block first. The LMT EBCG is more about durability, and nothing about it is mixed. It will last significantly longer and yes cut some gas in your face. But not on the same level the Adjustable gas block will (superlative arms or SLR Rifleworks being the go to).All you need to be sure of is: will your gas block clear the tight ID of the Specwar upper. My understanding is that most low-profile gas blocks will be fine. The decision to convert or not is yours. But if it were me, I would save the BRT barrel for another build and buy an LMT barrel for your Specwar. With 556, it seems like a standard adjustable gas block like the Aero adjustable gas block would be enough to tame the pressure and speed.
