77r is the form that you have to submit for any "regulated firearm" purchase/transfer in MD. They're completed electronically on the MSP Licensing portal by the buyer (with additional detail added by the FFL once you make a purchase).But my take is you fill out 77R then go to gun store anytime after that and buy the gun. The gun store submits their part of the application and you wait 7 days from purchase and if approved, go pick up your new gun. You have so many days from the time you do the 77R to buy your firearm.
