Apparently it was an issue with the app, not either carrier (for reference I'm using an unlocked Galaxy S9). After calling the carrier, it seemed the number was already release. Mint confirmed they had it on file as being activated and setup. The app, for whatever reason, just was stuck on the transferring screen. To transfer the number I needed several things: your account number, phone number, pin number on your account, and zip code. My account number in Straight Talk’s system, is the IMEI number. You can find your IMEI number by dialing *#06# on your phone. I screenshotted all of the screens I went through to activate the three month plan.
