Neue museum
The Neues Museum (New Museum) is a listed building on the Museum Island in the historic centre of Berlin, Germany. Built from 1843 to 1855 by order of King Frederick William IV of Prussia in Neoclassical and Renaissance Revival styles, it is considered as the major work of Friedrich August Stüler. I visited the Neue Galerie in March 2022. The museum had an interesting collection of Austrian and German art. I had to show my proof of vaccination to enter and also I had to buy a timed-entry ticket online in advance. The most important paintings were by Gustav Klimt including the "Woman in Gold", There were also some paintings by Kandinsky.
