It has the advantage of having a greater damage output compared to other tools, making it a great weapon ...Personally i kinda like stone axes the most, fairly durable, wont tire you, but takes time to get the durability up, its not as bad as with spears and you can rely on them if you make 4-5 a day and forage. For me its: Pick axe Handaxe/stone axe/fireman axe Wood axe are very slow and will tire you extremely fast.its pretty disgusting that I have trouble chopping down even 1 tree with a stone axe. I hardly even find chipped stones, its just... everything about stone axe are so non ideal... its gross. 'its only meant for early game' is a really poor excuse. the ammount of time and effort to make one should be worth twice what they currently return for their investment.
