Remington SPR 310 Blows Up Choke Tube. I have a Remington SPR 310 - 20 gauge o/u, and have sent only about 60 rounds through it. It has exploded both a factory choke and a Carlson's choke in the bottom barrel. Both times, it chewed up the choke in exact the same way. I have removed the automatic safety, disabled the ejectors, and added a slip-on pad to lengthen the LOP. I have shot much more expensive guns and know the difference.
