Then two days ago I picked up a legendary laser …A 2 shot variant of either one only adds the uncranked/uncharged and unmodified damage for the second shot so usually the Gauss ends up stronger. A 2 shot six-crank only adds a single crank on the second shot. Adding a fully charged Gauss shot and an uncharged Gauss shot is more damage than a six-crank Musket adding a second shot at one crank.
