After remodeling the church building, the Willises opened Willis Funeral Home on March 20, 1974 to serve Gallipolis and its surrounding communities. In 2001, Matthew, the son of Cleeland and Wanda Willis, and his wife Letty purchased the funeral home and have operated the business since then.
