The barrell is held in place by the forend shoe and stud. The stud is a sloted bolthead where the grip screw threads into also holds the forend shoe in place. Unscrew that.Use a dime and try to stick it down the muzzle (unloaded of course). If it doesn't go in you probably have a full choke. If it does go in it's a more open bore like modified or improved cylinder.
