Recoil is a lot softer on the ported slide vs the macro comped slide. Ported you get better recoil reduction performance and a longer barrel. Only con with doing the porting is the wait time.I own a tacops, also holster searching. To answer your question pick the option that says "x macro " tacops fits x macro holster because they both have they extended slide release. If it doesn't have the x macro option don't order it. The Xl doesn't have the new extended slide release so it may not be too snug as it could be.
